เป็นจารบีหล่อลื่นทนความร้อนรวมทั้งป้องกันการเผาไหม้แม่พิมพ์ ใช้กับแม่พิมพ์ที่ต้องต้านทานการรับน้ำหน้ก เหมาะกับการป้องกันการเผาไหม้เป็นเวลานานต่อสลักเกลียว หัวฉีด เป็นต้น แม้ว่าเทียบกับโมลิบดีนัมที่ใช้ป้องกันการเผาไหม้ จะมีความถ่วงจำเพาะเบากว่าประมาณ １/２ แต่ในปริมาณที่เท่ากัน นับว่าราคาถูกมาก
